Unforgettable Beauty...Ha Long Bay

Ha Long Bay in Vietnam is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Gulf of Tangkia, is approximately 175 km from Hanoi. The area which is often listed among the natural wonders of the world, consists of some 2000 uninhabited limestone karsts of various shapes and sizes and is one of the most  beautiful places I have ever seen.
Ha Long means descending dragon in English, for as local folklore has it, outsiders invaded the region and tried to enslave the people, but dragons came down from the skies and protected the people.
I just had to share a few of my photos of this beautiful area with the world.
