Bone chilling

I cannot think of another word to describe the act of blowing out the brins of your own child, except bone chilling. 

Not even evil comes close.

Wife yes, possibly, but your flesh and blood, wow.

Parents killing their children is not as rare as one would hope, but this was especially cold and brutal in my book.

If Murdoch could so easily blow out the brains of his own flesh and blood, can you imagine what his South Carolina ancestors did to slaves over the decades?

Horrifying to even imagine, I think, for that kind of cold kind of brutality has to come from somewhere!
