Baptist minister Steve Anderson from Arizona boasting that he prays each night for Obama to die and go to hell. At the same time the reports are coming in daily about an increase in hate crimes in the USA and even more dangerously, that the secret service is getting intelligence that threats against President Obama's life are being hatched minutely.
You know, having seen how racism is vicious in the USA, I had feared that Obama would never have lived to be inaugurated. Thank God he did.
Now I am even more concerned that he will not live to see out his term. If those white racists in the USA are allowed to succeed, I suspect America will have a very long and bloody civil war.
I write from the heart, whether it is about topical issues or my many treks all over the world. I enjoy sharing my thoughts and experiences with readers and getting valuable feedback.

Racism in America
Joan Williams BSc, is a retired radio talk show host who was educated in Canada, USA and Jamaica. She has traveled extensively in the USA, Africa, Europe, Asia, Latin American and the Caribbean
and enjoys blogging about her travels.

I fully expect an assasination attempt on his life. Assasinations have happened before and they can happen again and with the increased racist agenda linked to anti-government rhetoric it is even more likely that Obama will experience this. I hope he makes it!
